Thanks for your suggestions.

I think I've figured out how to change the animation speed. There's an option in VideoMach to define the Frames per Second (fps) quantity. What I did was to simply change that quantity before creating the movie using VMD.

It works well.

 load them into VideoMach manually. The first things that VideoMach will
 ask you after that is the "Frame Rate" and "Frame Duration".
 Alternatively, perhaps you can modify vmdmovie.tcl in order to
