Hi Chris,

You are right. a57 is the newest release with a well-defined version
number. My lab uses whatever is in CVS, which currently has a58 as the
numbering. See http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/vmd/vmd-new/devel.html
for what has changed. For us, the big one is the GROMACS tpr reader,
which lets us more easily visualize our GROMACS systems prior to simulation.
