Thanks, good to know. It renders great with a much smaller molecule (11K atoms, just a couple of hundred Mb memory use on the GPU). Even with shadows and ambient occlusion and raytrace materials like RTChrome. Just for the sake of experimentation I'm going to see how big a molecule will fit in the GPU RAM.
