Hello everyone,

I am brand new to MD simulations, VMD, and Linux in general. After installing VMD 1.9.3 I notice that when I start vmd from the terminal I do not get a console window, but simply the OpenGL and Main windows. I was wondering if I made some mistake during the installation process or if there is something else I need to do to get access to the main console.
