It does not look like DruGUI is an officially supported/distributed plugin,
so I can only take the developers at their word that their installation
procedure works.

Can you give specific, step-by-step commands describing what you did? Based
on the installation procedure I found, at least some of the specifics of
installation are ambiguous and/or system specific.
