I am trying to build VMD 1.8.7 for 64-bit linux to
use a PHANTOM Omni device with the new Sensable 64-bit
libraries. The build dies in the link phase with a
somewhat cryptic error message. I have attached a
record of the configuration and build outputs.

Will the precompiled binary for LINUXAMD64 support the
PHANTOM Omni? If so, I'll just use that one. If not,
I'd appreciate any suggestions on what I've done wrong.
