Bjoern,
  I've attached a simple test script that you can play with.
You can disable the normal lights and then add in your own using
this script (or modified versions thereof). Let me know if you
have questions. For Tcl docs, have a look at http://www.tcl.tk/
there are quite a few beginning script tutorials there. You'll get the
hang of it pretty easily. Please find the draft glowlights script
attached to this email.
