Hello Everyone:
I would like to use the vmd graphics primitives to construct a stilized
version of a cyclodextrin molecule using vmd primitives. Please refer to
http://www.york.cuny.edu/~rossi/research/cyclodextrins.htm
for a few examples.
Then, I want to superimpose a molecular model beta-CD on top of this
stilized version. VMD would be great for this!
Basically, cyclodextrin molecules are truncated hollow cones constructed
from sucrose moities. I am particularly interested in perspective views
and shading. Please see the examples.
I really appreciate any help you are willing to provide.
Warm regards,
Angelo
