Sorry for the slow reply, I'm still catching up after returning from travel.
When people develop new VMD plugins and they send me the needed
URLs and information, I am happy to link them up on the VMD documentation
pages. Many researchers have developed VMD plugins and contributed them
to be part of the standard installation, and those are already seamlessly
incorporated as part of the standard VMD distribution. To be incorporated
as part of the standard VMD distribution, plugins need to be tested on
multiple platforms, have documentation, etc. Nothing too surprising.
