The areas where VMD gets the greatest speedup from GPU acceleration are:
- QuickSurf representation
- Orbitals representation
- Electrostatic potential map calculation (volmap coulomb, volmap coulombmsm)
- Calculation of radial distribution function, i.e. g(r) (measure rdf)
