Hi Jan,
Its not clear to me from your message precisely what you have in mind.
>From your note it sounds like you've got some code that speaks the IMD
protocol, (NAMD, or something else?) and you want it to send coordinates to
VMD. This shouldn't be a problem at all. Are you trying to monitor a
simulation? You say you want coords to be sent "once" what does that mean
really? If this is really a one-shot transmission of coordinates, you might
actually be better off just doing it with a Tcl script since that'll
eliminate needing to emulate the rest of the IMD protocol. Thoughts?
