That does indeed install, but I think I need to rebuild as this uncovers a
problem with python support which I have seen before. When running vmd using
the python text interface after installing I get:
ERROR) Sorry, this version of VMD was compiled with Python support disabled
ERROR) Skipping startup script because Python could not be started.
As I said, I downloaded the python libraries from the VMD website but that
doesnt seem to help. Does this require compiling from source or using
another version of vmd? I havent had much success compiling vmd from source
so far.
