writedcd problem

Dear professor,
  
   After dealing with a trajetory with pbctools using VMD, I tried to save the treated trajetory using the below command . But the saved dcd file is only 300K while my trajetory is 8000M. The VMD is emploied in LINUX.

     set all [atomselect top all]
     $all writedcd 123.dcd
